Phuket Tourist is provided by Marius.dev. This policy covers the Phuket Tourist website and mobile apps. You can contact us about your information using the form below.

Information we handle

• Account information. Your name, email address, account identifier and profile information. For email sign-in, we store a password hash, not your readable password. If you choose Google sign-in, we receive the account information Google provides for authentication, such as your name, email address and profile image.
• Your activity and contributions. Saved places and events, planner dates and times, reviews, ratings, and any business or event information you submit.
• Messages. Your name, email address and message when you contact us or apply to become a place creator. Our contact service also receives your IP address.
• Technical information. Sign-in sessions can include IP addresses and browser or device information. Requests to our hosting, image and map services also provide the technical information needed to deliver those services.
• Location. If you use the website’s “My location” feature and allow browser location access, your coordinates are used to centre the map. You can refuse or revoke this permission in your browser settings.

How information is used

We use your information to create and secure your account, keep saved items and plans in sync, display your contributions, provide maps and recommendations, respond to messages, and maintain the service. Reviews and listings you choose to submit can be visible to other users.

We do not sell your personal information.

Services that process information

Our hosting, database, image delivery and email providers process information needed to operate Phuket Tourist. The contact form is handled by Marius.dev. These services may process information outside your country.

Maps use Mapbox. Map requests can include IP addresses, device information, identifiers and map usage information as described in the Mapbox privacy policy. If you choose Google sign-in, Google also processes information under its privacy policy. Links to other websites open services with their own privacy practices.

Cookies, storage and security

We use session cookies or device storage to keep you signed in, and local storage to remember preferences such as map filters. Clearing browser or app storage removes local preferences and may sign you out.

The live service uses HTTPS to protect information in transit. Account passwords are hashed, and account features require authentication. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Retention and account deletion

We keep account information while your account exists. When account deletion completes, your account and its associated data are deleted immediately, including sign-in records, saved items, planner entries and reviews. Deletion is permanent.

Uninstalling the app does not delete your account. Visit Delete account for the steps and a way to request deletion without the app. If you have contacted us separately, identify those messages in your request so they can be included.

Your choices

You can edit your profile, remove saved items and planner entries, sign out, or delete your account. You can control location and notification permissions in your device or browser settings. To ask about access to, correction of, or deletion of your information, use the form below. We may need to verify account ownership before acting on a request.
